Describe yourself in three words
Truthful, committed, and caring
One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process?
Despite the misgivings, all candidates put on smiles and are friendly. This is how the primaries ended.
But on the social media, especially WeChat, a lot of defamatory remarks were thrown against the parties and the candidates. It is still continuing. This is the most ugly part of the election.
What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?
The biggest challenge is that in every election people get divided along party lines. I feel that DNT as a new party can tone it down and bring about a unity.
Three reasons why people should vote for you
DNT is the only option and I am one of the serious options to consider in Bumthang. I stand for unity.
People should consider change for the better. Given the status of Bumthang township, roads and network connectivity, in the last 10 years the result has been poor. I have no doubt that I can achieve results if I am given a chance.
The first thing you will do if you win
I will reach out to the supporters of the opponent party. I want them to feel comfortable with reconciliatory approaches.
Social media, a boon or bane in this election for you?
Both. I was one of the top targets on social media. This is again continuing and now the attempt is being made to create a rift between me and the Peoples’ Democratic Party. Sometimes I wish for a clean election without social media.

Lack of economic growth towards achieving self-reliance.
